California Wine Month Specials and Packages from California Inns

Lavender in Yountville has a new package for wine country travelers seeking extra pampering when they visit the Napa Valley. The inn’s new Suite Bliss package starts with two nights in Lavender’s upstairs Loft Spa Suite, featuring a king bed, gas fireplace, separate sitting room with pull-out sofa, and bath with jetted spa tub.  The package also includes a tasting and a wine cave tour at Pine Ridge Vineyards on Napa’s famous Silverado Trail, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates upon check-in, a gift tin with soothing bath products, two plush bathrobes to take home, breakfast each morning, evening wine and hors d’oeuvres and more.  Rates for the Suite Bliss two-night package range from $999 to $1,165 per couple and are based on availability. The quaint village of Carmel has a wonderful selection of excellent wine tasting rooms, all within walking distance to Tradewinds Carmel.  The highlight of inn’s wine package is the Wine Passport (a $90 value), which is valid for nine free tastings at any of the 15 participating tasting rooms in Carmel. The package also includes a $75 dining certificate redeemable at one of four Carmel restaurants, a gift certificate to Carmel Cheese Shop and a one-night stay at the inn.  A secret gem in downtown Carmel, the tranquil inn features a beautiful courtyard with a stream, fire pit and meditation garden.
