Capio appoints François Demesmay as new Chief Medical Officer

François has held the position as deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO) since March 2016 and is already today a member of Capio’s Group Management team. Prior to that François was the CMO of Capio France and has long experience in driving improvements in healthcare. François is succeeding Sveneric Svensson who will be retiring. 

Capio’s vision is to ensure the best achievable quality of life for every patient. The basis to achieve the vision is to speed up implementation of new treatment methods – Modern Medicine – with a decentralized and empowered organization – Modern Management. The CMO position is important in realizing this change, which is implemented with the patients’ needs as the starting point.
