Capio's French unit Polyclinique Marzet reopened
Following the authorisation given by ARH (Agence Regionale
d'Hospitalisation) Capio Santé reopened the clinic Marzet yesterday,
Monday May 19. The first patients came into the clinic by the end of the
day to be hospitalized.
Marzet's patients proved their confidence by deciding to be hospitalized
in Marzet as soon as the clinic was opened, and the staff and the
management of Marzet are very proud of this.
Polyclinique Marzet was partially closed April 22, 2003 by order of the
French Health Ministry and Regional Hospital Administration ARH who,
after inspection, had criticised the physicians' handling of patients.
Polyclinique Marzet has annual revenues of about EUR 15 M. Operations
include surgery, oncology and medical treatment, but it is also has an
outpatient care department and X-ray facilities. The clinic has 240
employees. The operations have been included in the Capio Group since
November 2002.
