Celsius receives order for Radar Warner Receiver

Celsius receives order for Radar Warner Receiver CelsiusTech Electronics, a business unit of the Celsius Group, has received an order worth SEK 600 M from Ericsson Saab Avionics AB, for radar warner receivers for the JAS 39 Gripen multirole combat aircraft. The radar warner receiver is part of a second-generation warning and countermeasures system for Gripen. The system is decisive to an aircraft's ability to carry out its mission in sectors where it faces a threat from hostile aircraft and anti-aircraft systems. It therefore features functions to detect threats from hostile radar, analyse signals, evaluate threats through comparison with known data, present these threats to the pilot and initiate appropriate countermeasures. CelsiusTech Electronics also supplies chaff and flare dispensers for the JAS 39 Gripen.
