Charlotte Mecklenburg Library touched 5,000 students through Storyvine

Storyvine is the result of a partnership between Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) and Richland County Public Library. Storyvine took place in May when 37 Storytellers descended upon CMS  to help enrich the lives of second graders in Title One schools. About 5,000 students were the enthusiastic recipients. This newly created video, produced by Mecklenburg County, captures some of the highlights of this year's Storyvine, as well as some of its history. Library Children's Services Coordinator, Emily Nanney, who coordinated the effort, hopes to replicate Storyvine next year.
