Yggdrasil Gaming slots are now live in Italy for the first time, following a successful integration with GVC Holding’s Gioco Digitale brand.

The brand is the first to go live with Yggdrasil titles in Italy, and will be followed by another GVC brand, bwin.it. There are currently 11 games from Yggdrasil’s portfolio of award-winning HTML5 titles certified under Italian regulations, including Dark Joker Rizes, Vikings Go Wild and Nirvana.

In addition to Yggdrasil’s content, GVC’s Italian operations will also gain access to BOOST™, the supplier’s arsenal of in-game promotional tools which enhances gamification with concepts such as Missions and Tournaments, and the social sharing tool, BRAG.

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said: This is a very special moment as the Italian market has seen a significant increase in mobile gaming in recent years. Yggdrasil can boast one of the best mobile game interfaces in the industry, so we are excited to see how customers react to our titles. The integration has been smooth and together with GVC we are now working to get Yggdrasil games on bwin.it up in the near future.

Liron Snir, Chief Product Officer at GVC Holdings said: “We are thrilled to be the first operator to bring Yggdrasil games to the Italian market. It has been a pleasure to work with the Yggdrasil team throughout what has been a straightforward integration process, and we look forward to seeing how these fantastic titles perform.
