ChromoGenics AB (publ) has signed a repeat order with Saldeen Real Estate AB for delivery of approximately 230 sqm of dynamic glass to an office property in Uppsala during the fourth quarter of 2018. The evaluation of the projects delivered previously indicates increased indoor comfort, which has resulted in an additional repeat order.

"We have previously installed ConverLight® in three of our properties in Uppsala, where an improved climate has resulted in a more pleasant indoor comfort in the premises," initiates Bo Saldeen, CEO Saldeen Real Estate.

"Our tenants have noted a significantly better working environment with a more comfortable climate, both in terms of daylight and temperature, especially during this extremely hot summer that has been in Scandinavia this year. Now we are building a new office space where we chose to install ConverLight in all window- and facade glasses. The plan is that tenants will move in during spring 2019. Satisfied tenants increase the value of real estate and it is, of course, an incentive for investment decisions that in addition also generate returns," concludes Bo Saldeen.

"ChromoGenics’ dynamic glass automatically controls the heat and light transmission into premises, which provides increased indoor comfort and energy savings. The cooling needs of premises can be reduced by 20-40 percent. The repeat order shows a need for property owners to invest in energy smart and cost effective solutions with sustained views and daylight transmission. Satisfied tenants and lower maintenance costs are important for all property owners and we are pleased that our dynamic glass can contribute to it, while reducing environmental impact through lower energy consumption," says Jerker Lundgren, CEO of ChromoGenics.
