Citi announces key appointments in the Nordic region

Citi announces the appointment of Eirik Winter as Nordic countries Chairman, in addition to his role as Head of Nordic Investment Banking. Citi also announces Mikkel Grønlykke as Country Officer for Sweden and Head of Nordic Corporate Banking.

Eirik Winter’s appointment as Chairman for the Nordic countries reinforces his senior responsibility across the Nordic businesses and the client portfolio

Mikkel Grønlykke, as Country Officer for Sweden, replaces Clas Rönnlöv who recently left Citi to pursue other opportunities. In addition, Mikkel also serves as Head of Nordic Corporate Banking. Mikkel was previously Country Officer for Denmark and Head of Corporate Banking in Denmark and will continue to do so until his successor is appointed.


Citi has been present with local offices in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway for nearly 40 years and has done business with Nordic clients for more than 100 years. With these key Nordic appointments, Citi’s underscores its commitment to continuing to grow the Nordic franchise across the different business areas.
