Clas Ohlson sales development in July 2016

Sales decreased by 1 per cent in July to 635 MSEK (641). In local currencies, sales increased by 1 per cent. Sales in July was negatively affected by a calendar effect of about 3 percentage points, due to fewer trading days compared with the previous year.

Compared with the same month previous year, the net store portfolio was expanded by
8 stores. At the end of the period, the total number of stores was 207.

Total sales during the first three months of the fiscal year (May to July 2016) amounted to
1,763 MSEK (1,770). In local currencies, sales increased by 2 per cent.

The first quarter interim report 2016/17 will be published at 07:00 CET on Wednesday
7 September 2016. The report will be presented on the same day at 08:30 CET in Clas Ohlson’s store at Drottninggatan 53 in Stockholm, Sweden.
