Earlier today, Clas Ohlson opened a new store in the smaller store format, Compact Store, in Märsta outside Stockholm.

As the name suggests, Clas Ohlson Compact Store is smaller than an ordinary Clas Ohlson store, but still filled with a wide assortment of smart products and solutions. The store also offers Clas Ohlson’s rental concept from which the customer can rent quality tools.

“This is an area which we have had our eyes on for quite some time and it feels great to finally be able to open up a store in Märsta. Preparations for the opening have been going on for months and the project team has done a fantastic job,” says Fredrik Uhrbom, Country Manager Sweden.

Clas Ohlson Compact Store in Märsta has a retail space of approximately 450 square meters.

Clas Ohlson was founded in 1918 as a mail order business based in Insjön, Sweden. This year, we are celebrating 100 years as a business with customers in five markets, more than 4,800 co-workers and annual sales of approximately 8 billion SEK. Our share is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. A lot has happened since the start in 1918, but one thing has remained the same over the years; that we want to help and inspire people to improve their everyday lives by offering smart, simple, practical solutions at attractive prices.
