Congress Hotel introduces eco-friendly French Connection Bathroom–guest toiletries for the South Beach lifestyle

“This is South Beach,” explains Claudio Bono general manager of Congress Hotel. “Our celebrity and VIP guests expect to see lifestyle brands in the Suites but what really sold us on French Connection was the environmental aspect.

Melbourne, Australia, April 7th, 2011– Congress Hotel South Beach, where beautiful people congregate, to see and be seen, announced today the addition of French Connection Bathroom, an exquisite new collection of environmentally responsible guestroom toiletries from British fashion retailer, French Connection, to their guest Suites.

The range of indulgent and pampering body products is fragranced with a floral blend of grapefruit, jasmine and vetiver creating a fresh, versatile fragrance for everyday use and well‐being. The scent, developed exclusively by world-renown fragrance designer Jo Malone for French Connection back in the late 90s, remains a true classic, creating a sense of serenity and purity from head to toe.

“This is South Beach,” explains Claudio Bono general manager of Congress Hotel. “Our celebrity and VIP guests expect to see lifestyle brands in the Suites,” says Bono. “What really sold us on French Connection was the environmental aspect. We’re working to implement a wide variety of ecological initiatives across all properties that cater to both the needs of our upscale clientele the global community”.

French Connection Bathroom’s ultra-modern packaging features square clear bottles; embossed soaps and accessories in white boxes with black text, manufactured by Concept Amenities with a proprietary organic additive that renders plastic fully biodegradable in landfill conditions—an important attribute, these days, considering 5.5 billion hotel toiletry bottles and caps are disposed in landfill every year.

“We’re really excited”, concludes Bono. “With hundreds of stores worldwide; devotees that span the globe and branding that has become synonymous with contemporary fashion, French Connection Bathroom will definitely create the vibe we want for our guest Suites.”
