Coor’s customers focus on the environment

The many small decisions we make each day are critical to the environment and climate. In order to help our customers to minimize their environmental impact, Coor offers a far-reaching annual review based on a comprehensive environmental audit tool. Customers who meet pre-determined criteria are awarded silver or gold certification for their environmental commitment.

Each year, Coor carries out a far-reaching environmental audit of customers that have expressed an interest in the service, using its proprietary comprehensive environmental audit tool Coor Green Services. Customers value the unique tool as it is not restricted to specific products or services, and covers all services delivered by Coor. Customers that meet the pre-determined requirements are awarded silver or gold status, which is evidence that a majority of the services delivered to the customer’s offices, premises or sites are environmentally friendly. The results of the environmental audit completed in 2016 have now been published. A total of 76 sites were reviewed, of which 73 were awarded silver or gold standard (corresponding to 96%). The customers and sites that achieved gold standard are listed below.

“We’ve now completed our environmental audit for the seventh year running, with considerable interest from customers. We’ve seen an increase in the number of gold awards this year. This shows that our customers are ambitious, which is obviously very pleasing. Coor Green Services is an excellent tool for identifying potential improvements in collaboration with our customers, which contributes to creating a greener environment,” commented Maria Eriksson, HSEQ Manager at Coor.

Every year, Coor in Sweden selects its “Environmental Star of the Year”—the customer that distinguishes itself in the environmental segment, and the award is presented at a ceremony during the second quarter 2017.
