New TV spot and Facebook promotion reintroduce guest favorite for a short time
PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. – April 11, 2013 – Responding to overwhelming guest raves, Culver’s Colby Jack Pub Burger, the restaurant’s most successful limited-time-only burger ever, returns to the menu for a short time until June 9. Like all ButterBurgers at Culver’s, the handcrafted Colby Jack Pub Burger starts with fresh, never frozen, Midwest-raised, grill-seared beef. This mouthwatering combination is then topped with gourmet, real Wisconsin Colby Jack cheese, crispy onions and four-pepper mayo with a touch of A.1.â Steak Sauce and served on a zesty artisan bun.
“We’re thrilled with the response to the Pub Burger which debuted last year and we’re looking forward to delivering this tasty experience to even more guests,” says David Stidham, vice president of marketing. “Our limited-time-only menu items allow Culver’s to share exciting new flavors with guests, carefully handcrafted to deliver the freshest taste.” The Colby Jack Pub Burger will make its delicious reappearance in an upcoming television spot where viewers are treated to taste bud pleasing behind-the-scenes footage of Pub Burger creation in action. Along with the TV spot, Culver’s launched a Facebook promotion to provide one grand prize winner with a unique opportunity. Through “This Round’s on Craig,” one grand prize winner will win a trip for themselves and three of their friends to Sauk City, home of the ButterBurger and the first Culver’s. The winner and their friends will grill up Colby Jack Pub Burgers with co-founder Craig Culver, receive a two-night stay in a Wisconsin Dells resort and $1,000 in cash.
