The Scottish Trefoil Guild celebrate 100 Years of Girlguiding at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort

The Macdonald Aviemore Resort is set to host the Annual General Meeting and Gala Dinner of the Trefoil Guild in Scotland from 7-8 May 2010. This year the Scottish Trefoil Guild is celebrating the centenary of Girlguiding in the UK.

The AGM with an expected 400 members in attendance will take place in the main auditorium within the Macdonald Aviemore Resort. The AGM will include a parade of local girl guides celebrating the changes to the Girl Guide uniform over the past 100 years. There will also be a special PowerPoint presentation of old photos celebrating Girlguiding in the UK.

The Scottish Trefoil Guild plans to commemorate this momentous occasion by celebrating the past, rejoicing in the present and looking at ways of moving into the future.”
The Gala dinner will be held in the Osprey Arena and will include musical entertainment by Gordon Cree.
