RIDEMAKERZ builds excitement at Boys & Girls Club as kids build custom rides and self esteem on “Spaces of Hope – Building Bright Futures” makeover series
(Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – June 18, 2013) Home improvement show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV will feature RIDEMAKERZ – makers of toy cars that kids can customize - on the “Designing Spaces of Hope – Building Bright Futures” makeover series at a Boys & Girls Club. Tune in on Wednesday, June 19th at 7:30 am (ET/PT), as Lisa Materazzo from RIDEMAKERZ joins the show to talk tricking out a RIDE. This show will re-air Friday, June 28th.
During the series, the “Designing Spaces of Hope – Building Bright Futures” crew goes into the Boys & Girls Club in Pompano Beach, Florida and makes over several rooms to improve the facility for the children, volunteers and staff. RIDEMAKERZ teamed up with Designing Spaces™ to ride the theme of “building” by donating XTREME CUSTOMZ product kits for all the children to build their own personalized remote control cars.
Each RIDE comes equipped with a body, with styles ranging from Chevy Corvette, Dodge Viper, Ford Mustang, Spiderman, and many more, and thousands of accessories like tires and lights. All parts are interchangeable. Building the one-of-a kind toy car “RIDE” which is 1:18 scale (the size of a football or shoebox) is fun and educational for the kids.
