Thanks to an increase in capacity for 2016, even more visitors will be able to benefit from the expert insights and practical advice on offer in camexpo’s Business Clinic when the show returns to Olympia London this autumn.

Taking place on 24-25 September, the UK’s leading natural health and wellbeing show is renowned for providing a comprehensively diverse range of educational content aimed specifically at meeting the business and professional development needs of complementary health practitioners and therapists.

Introduced at last year’s show, The Business Clinic enjoyed standing-room only crowds and saw many sessions generously oversubscribed.  For 2016, the theatre now boasts twice as many seats and a new sponsor - Jayney Goddard MasterClasses.

“I'm incredibly proud to be the sponsor of the camexpo Business Clinic talks and theatre this year,” says Goddard, who will be hosting a session on the show’s opening day.

“Complementary medicine and natural healthcare are challenging business environments at the best of times – but never more so in our current uncertain economic climate.  My personal mission is to support practitioners and students in being as successful as they possibly can be – in fact, I’ve dedicated the last 23 years of my life to running The Complementary Medical Association and this is just another measure of my commitment to helping practitioners succeed.

“On a personal note: I’m totally committed to complementary medicine myself – as a practitioner and as a practice development mentor – I’ve helped tens of thousands of practitioners to be successful over the years and I know that this will help many more practitioners,” she says.

Goddard will also be running an exclusive free prize draw at the show (on stand 1229).  Prizes include a full day's private one-to-one mentorship worth £5,000 (designed to set up the lucky winner’s entire business strategy in one go) and two one-hour online business consultations (which would normally cost over £800 each).

Other confirmed speakers – discussing everything from social media and video marketing to promoting and growing your business, include Hazel Russo and Margaret Coats from the CNHC, Dr Robert Verkerk and Meleni Aldridge from the Alliance for Natural Health International, The CAM Coach Mark Shields, award-winning success coach John Prendergast, business mentor Lisa Barber, and social media trainer Ola Agbaimoni.

“Social media marketing isn’t magic, it doesn’t work over night.  But it does work.  It’s the 21st century engagement channel that can connect you to your ideal customers more easily than at any other point in history.  Making it part of your marketing strategy is a wise investment, if you invest in it wisely,” says Agbaimoni.  She’s back in the Business Clinic for her second year running, outlining her top tips for using Facebook for business.

“Small business owners, especially those in CAM, should see it as a real opportunity to reach qualified customers seeking personalised services,” she says.

“camexpo is the most comprehensive and delicious learning and professional development feast for CAM practitioners in the UK.  I love the fact each year camexpo just keeps getting better and better!” says Dr Robert Verkerk.
