Returning to London’s Earls Court next year, on 29-30 April, SITS – The Service Desk & IT Support Show looks set to celebrate its milestone 20th anniversary in great company, with a host of big name vendors, consultancies and service providers now confirmed for 2014.

xMatters; Autotask; Axios Systems; Biomni; Bomgar; Cherwell Software; Freshdesk; FrontRange Solutions; Global Technology Solutions; LogMeIn; ManageEngine; ServiceNow; SysAid Technologies; Specops Software; TOPdesk; and Matrix42 are just a few returning exhibitors hoping for a repeat of last year’s packed aisles.

New additions include Absolute Software, specialists in technology and services for the management and security of mobile devices, and Sunview Software, one of America’s fastest growing providers of ITSM software.

Firmly established as a vital business forum for sharing ideas and innovations within the ITSM and IT support community, SITS has enjoyed continued industry prominence and support throughout its illustrious 20-year history.  As a snapshot of the ITSM market, the 2013 event certainly reflected a more buoyant mood than in recent years.  Feedback from the show floor saw many delighted exhibitors commenting that the buyers – 4,362 in all – were ready and, perhaps more importantly, able to do business.  While 91% of surveyed visitors rated their show experience as excellent/good.

For 2014, organiser Diversified Communications UK is looking to build on that momentum, having already announced the appointment of a new ITSM Business Development Executive, Toby Moore.

Moore joins the SITS and ServiceDesk360 team, with a strong track record in IT; having worked in 1st/2nd line services, IT procurement and, most recently, leading a service desk team supporting Study Group – a collection of schools and offices located across the UK and Europe.

“Toby is extremely passionate about both the service desk community and its working culture,” says Laura Venables, group event manager of SITS.  “He has first-hand experience in leading a service desk team and is someone who can truly relate to our audience.  For me, Toby was a natural choice, and has settled into the team really well.  It’s a really positive development for us and we’re delighted to welcome him to Diversified UK.”

Invigorating, inspiring, essential and enjoyable – SITS may need little introduction within the industry it serves.  For two days, the event offers its attendees a vital opportunity to source the latest tools, technology and insights that they need to improve their IT provisions and enable their organisations to work more effectively.  For those that have yet to enjoy the SITS experience for themselves – 2014 may be the perfect year to give it try.

“SITS is a busy and brilliant event for the industry – clearly the most focused and clearly defined of all the IT support exhibitions and a treasure trove for all concerned – networkers, vendors, buyers, practitioners, analysts and consultants,” says independent management consultant, and popular SITS speaker, Barclay Rae.

SITS – The Service Desk & IT Support Show will return to Earls Court, London, on 29-30 April 2014.  For further information, and to register free in advance, please visit www.servicedeskshow.com (http://www.eventdata.co.uk/Visitor/SITS.aspx?TrackingCode=PR14) and quote priority code PR14.
