EH Smith strikes powerful partnership with German PV manufacturer SolarWorld
Established PV supplier EH Smith has become the first Builders Merchant in the UK to partner with global photovoltaic manufacturer SolarWorld, providing a same-day collection service from their distribution centre or next-day delivery - reducing their own carbon emissions in the process, by choosing a European partner rather than one from the Far East.
With a reputation for unparalleled quality, SolarWorld is one of very few PV manufacturers to manufacture from raw materials rather than simply assembling component parts. Based in Freiberg, Germany, the company controls the development of solar power technology from start to finish under its own roof, guaranteeing quality and supply at all times.
EH Smith is already one the UK’s longest-established suppliers of PV. As well as supplying to private residential and commercial developments EH Smith has worked with more than 30 housing associations to transform energy efficiency in public sector housing and has built a reputation for outstanding service and product knowledge.
This dual expertise, combined with EH Smith’s broad customer networks and ability to offer either same-day collection - or next-day, nationwide delivery from their dedicated Solar PV distribution centre in Birmingham – means that together EH Smith and SolarWorld are able to offer the market a trusted, expert partnership for high-quality solar panels.
