Cloud Solutions Shorten Time-to-Market, Minimize Costs, and Help Operators of Any Size Remain Competitive and Scale While Maintaining Best-in-Class Video Quality and Reliability

Envivio (NASDAQ:  ENVI) today announced that it will demonstrate to independent video operators how to launch multi-screen services through the cloud at NCTC’s Independent Show, July 27-30 in Kansas City, MO.  The NCTC’s (National Cable Telecom Cooperative) 1,000 cable operators together represent more than 20 million video subscribers nationwide.

At this mid-summer technical jamboree for small to mid-size cable operators, Envivio will demonstrate its turnkey, virtualized end-to-end, any–screen video software service  -  which features all the components needed to quickly launch and scale multi-screen services with minimal CAPEX investment.   Features include virtualized encoding, packaging, digital rights management (DRM), ad mediation, content delivery network (CDN), app creation and billing.

“Time is of the essence for the independent video provider. With Envivio’s cloud-based SaaS platform, customers can go from zero to service launch in less than a month,” Envivio’s VP of Strategy and Corporate Development Arnaud Perrier commented.  “And, our fully integrated video delivery service employs a pay-as-you-grow OPEX model that allows them to scale the service based on usage, while maintaining the highest-level of video quality and reliability.”

Live linear and on-demand content can be simultaneously delivered to most high-engagement platforms such as Apple TV, XBox, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, iOS/Android tablets, and Samsung Smart TVs.  Envivio’s virtualized software has been commercially deployed on a large scale at a leading U.S. cable operator, and at a tier 1 operator in Europe for live OTT channels delivered to the big screen.  For more information about Envivio’s cloud-based video software platform, visit www.envivio.com.
