The enigma of choosing a new location
When EssentialSkillz were looking for a new base for their UK operation, Milton Keynes made the ideal choice with its central location and good transport links to reach their customers.
After just one year, growth in the customer base and staff numbers meant that EssentialSkillz have out-grown their current premises but the possibility of leaving Milton Keynes was never considered.
As EssentialSkillz Sales & Marketing Director Ryan Pavey explained “As we are a company that delivers online health and safety training plus risk assessments, it is critical to have a high speed broadband connection to interact with our customers as quickly as possible.”
“After testing a number of locations, the Bletchley Park Science and Innovation Centre became the obvious choice. Whilst a number of sites had the space and the speed it was the historical connections that clinched it for us. Having the national museum of computing here is very apt for a company so reliant on the computer. We are happy to be supporting the Trust and Bletchley Park Capital Partners as they continue to restore such an important historical site.”
