Etteplan delivers Upgrade-Packages for CBRN-exploration vehicles to Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance in Germany
- The Upgrade-Packages will be installed in 300 CBRN- exploration vehicles in Germany to detect e.g. radioactivity and chemical pollutants in the air.
Etteplan in Germany has received a significant order from the German Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (Part of the Federal Ministry of Interior) to deliver measurement equipment and upgrade-packages of the measurement system used in CBRN-exploration vehicles to detect hazardous air particles, such as chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear particles. The deliveries will be due during 2017-2018.
The order includes the hardware and software integration of the state-of-the-art ion-mobility spectrometer (IMS), photoionization detector (PID) and Global Positioning System (GPS) as well as the upgrading of the packages in the existing measurement equipment.
The software development work will be done by Etteplan’s experts in Sweden. Etteplan’s unit in Germany delivers the integration of the new measurement equipment, the documentation for installation, hardware and software, the logistics of the upgrade packages, installation, support and training.
