  • New CEO will lead company in second phase of transition

Erik Hoekstra, the CEO of DTG B.V. a European Directories group company has decided to leave DTG, effective end of January. In the past four years, Erik worked to transition DTG from a print and directories company to an online marketing service organization. Under his leadership DTG was launched as a new brand, a new online marketing services product portfolio for SMEs was introduced, and strong partnerships with leading online players were established.

DTG is now entering the next stage of online transition, in which it will further develop and improve products, processes and services. This is a good time for Erik to leave the company and allow for a new CEO to embark on this phase and bring DTG further future success. The CEO responsibilities will temporarily be taken over by current Management Team members Stef Hinfelaar (MD and Chief Financial Officer) and Walewein Lichtenauer (MD and Chief Commercial Officer). Also John Goddard will join the DTG Management Team as MD and Chief Product Officer.

The Board of European Directories Midco S.à r.l. regrets but understands his decision. “We would like to thank Erik for his good contributions to DTG since 2012. He has guided DTG through the first wave of transformation from a print into an online service business. We wish Erik all the best in his future endeavors”, says Marcus Englert, Chairman of the Board at European Directories Midco S.à r.l..
