Big Head Todd and the Monsters Join FestEVOL 2012 Lineup
Pete Kilpatrick Band also added for Crested Butte, Okemo and Mount Sunapee shows
Boulder,CO. – FestEVOL and the Bud Light Concert Series announce the addition of the Colorado native band, Big Head Todd and the Monsters to the lineup for the second annual FestEVOL concert series. They will join Barenaked Ladies, Guster and FestEVOL returning act Pete Kilpatrick Band. FestEVOL 2012 will kick off at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, in Colorado, on March 17 and 18. From there, the music and mountain lifestyle celebration moves east to Okemo Mountain Resort, in Vermont, on March 24 and 25, and Mount Sunapee Resort, in New Hampshire, on March 31 and April 1. FestEVOL 2012 will combine snowsports and live music at the nation’s premier mountain resorts.
“The recent additions of Big Head Todd and the Pete Kilpatrick Band bring this year’s FestEVOL into the not-to-be-missed category,” said Andrew Jaffe, EVOL Foods vice president of marketing.
This won’t be the first time these bands have shared billing. This past summer Guster joined Big Head Todd as they rocked Red Rocks in Colorado to sellout crowds. Known for such hits as “Bittersweet”, “Circle” and “Broken Hearted Savior,” Big Head Todd and the Monsters most recent work (under the band name, Big Head Blues Club) includes a tribute album to the late blues singer and musician Robert Johnson.
FestEVOL is proud to support the nonprofit organization, Reverb, founded by Guster band member Adam Gardner and his wife, Lauren, in 2004. Reverb will be actively involved at each FestEVOL location in an effort to keep the event as green and sustainable as possible. The Reverb Eco Village highlights environmental nonprofit groups alongside alternative energy exhibits. It also includes food sampling from top natural food brands such as Evol Burritos, Ben & Jerry’s, Stonyfield Farm and Rustic Crust plus ski and snowboard equipment demos with Nordica and Ramp Sports.
