Exmac Automation has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Harry Chana as Business Development Manager, with a brief to help the Droitwich-based company further develop its position as the leading British conveying and material handling specialists.

With a background in electrical and control engineering and hands-on experience of both project management and design roles, Harry is keen to build on Exmac’s current successes in the automotive and aerospace industry while developing a strong presence in the logistics, food and nuclear sectors.

Harry joins Exmac from Savoye Ltd, a leading European provider of warehouse automation solutions; and is currently studying for a BSc in Software Design to complement his existing mechanical and electronic engineering qualifications.

Welcoming Harry to the team, Exmac managing director Gary Sweeney says that with a new purpose-designed facility just open and turnover doubled in 2011 this is an exciting and challenging time to be joining the business.
