Klavs Berzins appointed Managing Director of Fazer Bakery Baltic

Klavs Berzins has been appointed Managing Director of Fazer Bakery Baltic and member of the Fazer Bakery Business Area management team. He has a strong background in an international FMCG business. He will start in his position in the beginning of November.

Klavs Berzins has profound insights into and experience in running a FMCG business, having worked in various positions and markets at Philip Morris International for 19 years. He is currently based in Switzerland and responsible for the company’s sales strategy across the world. Prior to that, he worked as Sales Director Poland and Managing Director Sweden & Iceland. He has also held, among others, the positions of Head of Marketing Baltic States and Country Manager Latvia.

Petri Kujala, Managing Director of the Fazer Bakery Business Area, said: ‘Our Baltic business has developed well in the past two years and I am convinced that Klavs is the right person to lead our business to even greater success in the future, together with the Baltic Management team.’
