FEM’s new InstaCut food cutter makes light work of manual food preparation

Slicing time and labour

Manual food preparation can be a time-consuming and labour-intensive process. The new InstaCut™ 5.0 multi-purpose cutter from Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) effortlessly dices, slices, wedges and cores a variety of fruits and vegetables, three times faster than by hand, increasing productivity and freeing up staff time.

Manufactured by Vollrath, InstaCut can be used to prepare onions, peppers, potatoes, pears, apples, celery, lemons and oranges. With its clean, quick one-stroke cuts, the manual operating system of the InstaCut 5.0 reduces bruising and raises the overall quality of food presentation.

The cutter comes with 6.4mm dice blade as standard, with other blades available. The thermoset, corrode-resistant blades pop-in and pop-out so that they can be easily changed or cleaned and never need adjustment.

Built to last, aluminium and stainless steel construction makes the InstaCut light weight, durable and break resistant. FEM supplies the Vollrath InstaCut 5.0 with a full one-year warranty.
