Standing strong: Stonehenge strengthens slicer
Heavy duty meat slicers with Stonehenge coating from FEM
Large restaurants, catering operations, supermarkets, butchers and food processors can all benefit from a safe and reliable meat slicer. FEM’s popular Sirman Galileo slicers are extra-heavy-duty, gravity-feed slicers designed for busy operations looking to provide freshly sliced meat. Now the Galileo slicers are available with a new Stonehenge Plus ceramic-teflon coating, which makes the units more durable and easy to clean.
The aluminium-grey Stonehenge coating covers the cast aluminium alloy of the base, table, knifeguard rim, blade cover, carriage, end weight and sharpening house, allowing the slicer to glide through sticky products. Highly resistant to acids and sanitising chemicals, the coating is easy to keep clean, preventing flavour transfer.
The Galileo slicer features a rounded design with no sharp corners or visible screws. The permanently-mounted blade guard increases safety, while the large distance between the blade and the machine body aids cleaning.
A built-in sharpening tool, which is protected at the bottom, ensures the 350mm blade cuts all slices crisply, cleanly and precisely, time after time. The thickness of the slices can be adjusted between 0 and 25mm.
The strong, high quality, heavy-duty, 380W, 0.52Hp motor is fan cooled and will not overheat.
The Galileo 350 with Stonehenge Plus coating measures 800mm (w) x 680mm (d) x 700mm (h) and is available through FEM distributors with a 1 year parts and labour warranty for £2960 + VAT.
