Appointment in Fortum's Executive Management

FORTUM CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 10 June 2014 at 16:00 EEST

Sirpa-Helena Sormunen, LL.M. (Helsinki University), 54, has been appointed General Counsel and member of Fortum Corporation's Executive Management as of 1 September 2014. She will report to Tapio Kuula, President and CEO of Fortum Corporation.

For the last two years Sirpa-Helena Sormunen has been working as General Counsel for Patria, a provider of defence, security and aviation life-cycle support services and technology solutions. Prior to that, she has held several managerial and legal positions at Nokia and NSN with the responsibility of global legal teams. In addition, she has several years' experience in M&A as well as in governance and compliance issues.
