Arun Aggarwal appointed SVP, Business Technology and member of Fortum's Executive Management

FORTUM CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 3 SEPTEMBER 2018 AT 9.00 EEST  

Mr Arun Aggarwal, M.Sc. (Eng.), 49, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Business Technology and member of Fortum's Executive Management. This is a new position at Fortum. Mr Aggarwal will have group-wide responsibility to lead Fortum's strategic IT as well as digital innovation and transformation. He will resume his position in mid-November 2018 and report to Fortum's President and CEO Pekka Lundmark.

Mr Aggarwal currently works with IBM Corporation as an Executive Advisor. Previously he has held positions as Global CIO and Digital Transformation leader at the NYSE-listed (global) building materials company Cemex Inc. and as a consultant at BearingPoint and KPMG Consulting, among others.
