Fortum issues SEK 6,200 million bonds

Fortum Corporation has issued two 5 year bonds under its existing Euro Medium
Term Note Programme. The amount of SEK 6,200 million was launched and placed on
the following terms:

• SEK 3,100 million 5 year Floating Rate Note due 14th September 2015
• SEK 3,100 million 5 year Fixed 3.125% Note due 14th September 2015

The bonds were allocated to about 50 investors. The Notes will be listed in
Luxembourg. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. 

Danske Bank, Handelsbanken Capital Markets and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken
acted as Join Lead Managers of the bond issues.
