Fortum’s Hack the Turbine hackathon on 13-15 May

​Fortum has invited 40 innovators from startups and tech companies to the #hacktheturbine hackathon on 13-15 May.


-  Open innovation cooperation with start-ups and software developers is important to us. We want to find new and agile ways to cooperate in innovation, says Fortum’s CTO Heli Antila.


During the weekend the selected participants will ideate and develop solutions for predictive maintenance with technologies such as machine learning, data visualisation, augmented and virtual reality. Fortum provides the participants with real time and history data on energy production from several production units.


The winners of Hackathon will receive a financial reward of 4,500 euros, and the best teams will have an opportunity to pilot their innovation with Fortum.
