Annual Conference Fundraising Tasting

All Proceeds from the Culinary Competition to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida

Louisville, KY (May 15, 2012) – The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) will host its Culinary Competition on Thursday, June 21, during its Annual Conference in Miami, Florida, at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa.  AHF’s annual Culinary Competition pits five culinary teams from hospitals across the country against one another in contest to showcase creativity, presentation and, of course, taste.  Each of the five teams, composed of a foodservice director and a chef, have been selected based on recipes they submitted. The Culinary Competition showcases the best of the best in healthcare foodservice and is a highlight of AHF’s annual conference.

In addition to experiencing the excitement of the live cook-off , conference attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a tasting ticket to sample the winning dishes prepared for the Culinary Competition. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the Culinary Competition tasting ticket sales will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. The donation will be presented to RMHC on Friday, June 22.
