Fusion-Events, the leading organiser of automotive ‘live’ brand experiences, helped Renault serve up tasty treats for foodies, music lovers and families as the official automotive partner returned for second helpings at this year’s Big Feastival organised by Jamie Oliver and Alex James at the end of August.

Managing director of Fusion-Events, Gianni Mason, said: “In the run up to the Big Feastival, we helped Renault run a competition allowing families to nominate a deserving dad with real cooking skills. Four finalists then got to cook their star dish live at the event in Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube van, and were featured on Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube.

“Renault certainly set the tone for the fun-filled friendly event by offering festival-goers a free shuttle service in a fleet of all-electric Twizy two-seaters operated by us between the main site on Blur bassist Alex James’ Cotswolds farm and the nearby Big Feastival.

“Once inside the Big Feastival, visitors soaked up the atmosphere in the Renault Family Zone and learned more about the mouth-watering range of Renault cars. The Captur was featured with last year’s popular 24-foot climbing wall and HD cameras mounted at the summit once again created digital content that could be shared instantly on various social channels. Meanwhile, a specially-created obstacle course inspired by Renault’s partnership with Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest helped support the launch of the All-New Renault KADJAR.”

Renault UK brand communications manager, Colette Casey said: “The Big Feastival is a fantastic event that perfectly encapsulates so much of the Renault spirit. We were delighted to be involved for a second successive year and this year’s Big Feastival was one of the first shows where we showcased the All-New Renault KADJAR to the public.

“In addition, through our pre-event competition, we featured the Jamie Oliver Food Tube Van specifically created in conjunction with the Food Tube team to spotlight some of the key stars from Food Tube cooking with four finalists from our own competition.”
