Results of Low Carbon Technologies and Renewable Technology Solutions Conference will be included into Manifesto
The second conference of the Astana EXPO-2017 Future Energy Forum "Low Carbon Technologies and Renewable Technology Solutions" takes place from 10-11 July 2017 in the new Congress-Center in Astana. Leading experts from relevant fields gather to present, participate and engage in open discussions. The results of the conference will be included in the Astana EXPO-2017 Manifesto of Values and Principles.

The two-day conference puts focus on renewable and low carbon energy solutions. Leading international companies, developers, and innovators present best practices, exchange perspectives, and outline obstacles and accelerators to increasing the production and integration of energy from renewable and sustainable sources.
Among the speakers are:
- Dr Tetsunari Iida, Founder and Chairperson, Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies (ISEP)
- Dr Jeremy Leggett, Founder of Solarcentury & SolarAid
- Mr Benoît Lebot, Executive Director of the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation
- Dr Alan Meier, Member of the International Energy Advisory Council (IEAC)
Master of ceremonies is Conor Lennon, an experienced journalist working in the field of renewable energy.
