Getinge announces the next edition of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience which will take place in the Getinge Experience Center, Rastatt on Tuesday 19 September 2017. Over 50 customers from across Europe, Middle East & Africa will be in attendance and have the opportunity to network with scientific experts and medical device industry.

Every hour of every day, lives are being saved in intensive care units and Getinge play an important role in providing ICU solutions along the patient pathway – from admission to discharge. “Intensive care units are the locations where the most difficult to treat patients are often staying for days or even weeks. A comprehensive scientific program will be delivered by clinical experts covering important subjects such as cardiogenic shock, personalized ventilation, early mobilization and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) management.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on sessions with Getinge product specialists focused on ARDS therapy management, ventilation, Getinge ICU solutions from a design perspective, mechanical circulatory support devices and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
