ACDelco E-Catalogue Continues On The Up
ACDelco is reportedly delighted with the impact its E-catalogue has had since it was fully integrated into the UK and European aftermarket operation’s website almost a year ago. Indeed in the intervening period, customers and site visitors using the facility have increased month on month, with ACDelco now regularly seeing in excess of 1,150 visitors accessing this particular tool online.
As Lee Quinney, the head of ACDelco in the UK and Europe comments: “Our intention was to make our E-catalogue facility one of the industry’s best, particularly when it comes to ease of use and the speed with which information can be retrieved. Given that we have continued to see an upward trend in the number of people accessing and using the E-catalogue, we are confident that we have achieved this.”
Created as a tool that is designed to make it easier for people to do business with ACDelco, the E-catalogue now covers all of the aftermarket operation’s eight product groups taking in brakes, clutch, wiper blades, spark plugs, batteries, filters, bulbs and fluids.
Accessible at www.acdelco.eu.com, and playing on ACDelco’s latest global promotional theme ‘Part Of Something Bigger’, it provides full component details across each of the product areas. Entering the E-catalogue via the home page navigation bar, site visitors can then access one of three sections: application guide, buyers’ guide and cross reference guide. After clicking on the relevant product area to the left of the screen, three simple clicks in either section is all that it takes to access full part information. A valuable search facility is also included.
