NEW BRUNSWICK JOINS THE GOLF TOWN ROSTER
May 16, 2012, Markham, ON—Golf Town has stepped to the tee in Moncton, NB.
Canada’s largest golf retailer, providing unequalled selection and competitive prices from coast to coast, announces the grand opening of its 55th Canadian location—the first in New Brunswick—on Thursday, May 24. The 16,000-‐sq.-‐ft. facility, located at 52 Wyse Street, will feature a vast selection of brand name equipment, apparel and accessories, as well as a full range of Golf Town Academy services, including an in-‐store putting green and a trio of hitting bays with the latest golf simulator technology.

In‐store product selection includes the latest from Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, Ping, Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist and Wilson Staff. “We’ll also be offering a number of great Grand Opening daily specials and draw prizes,” notes regional vice-‐president Jose Gonzalez. “The retail experience we’re offering here has never been seen before in New Brunswick.”
As an added bonus, the first 100 customers on Thursday, May 24 will also receive a free gift bag.
On the instruction and fitting side, Troy Howe, a PGA of Canada professional, formerly Director of Golf at Moncton Golf Club, will oversee The Academy at Golf Town in Moncton, offering fittings private and semi-‐private lessons for all levels of golfers, including sessions for women and junior players. Every Academy is equipped with the latest technology, professional fitting carts, training aids, launch monitors and video analysis software to Golf Town’s digitally record and analyze a golfer’s swing to help them better understand their game and reach their ultimate potential. The Moncton location will also feature the company’s groundbreaking
Swing Labs, whose software provides extensive launch data analysis for every player’s swing, then narrows their ideal equipment choices from a possible 820,000 club combinations to just three, which the customer can then test in the store’s hitting bays.
