Grande Cuisine is set to showcase several products from their successful CAPIC and Adventys range, including a newly commissioned all-electric CAPIC suite set to be installed at Lakes Distillery, in Bassenthwaithe, Cumbria.

The all-electric suite is powered by Grande Cuisine’s CAPIC range, and will be responsible for supporting and enabling one of only two Whisky distillery’s in England.

The suite is comprised of two electric fryers, three 2-zoned radiant hobs, two 500mm wide planchas, one 800mm Plancha, three radiant hobs, two heated drawers and numerous open cupboards for storage. Also included in the suite is a flat service spine to allow for the easy transferral of pans across the suite and a front rail with two plating shelves. Specially designed for this suite is an ‘over shelf’, providing extra storage and workspace.

Grande Cuisine (stand F19) is to exhibit at the Restaurant Show, which runs from the 6thto the 8thof October, at Earls Court 2, London.

Additionally to the showcasing of CAPIC products, Grande Cuisine will also feature several Adventys products from its high-performance induction range. As restaurants become increasingly energy-conscious, induction technology’s efficiency is well placed to meet this change in demand.

Items from Adventys’ heavy duty range will be on show, providing resilient catering equipment for a full working day, week on week. The heavy duty range includes two and four zone three-phase induction tops, as well as a plancha variant.

“We’ve been witnessing a much more substantial demand for electrical products,” said Steve Hobbs, Grande Cuisine’s managing director, “this increase in requirement is down to reducing energy use and carbon footprint, effectively leading to decreasing energy costs and diminished life time costs as a result.“

Grande Cuisine isn’t the only attraction of the the Resturant Show, its centre stage will feature demonstrations, debates and food and drink matching – with topical and relevant advice for pubs, restaurants, golf clubs and event caterers given by leading industry names such as James Knappet and Sandia Chang, Tom Kerridge and Mark Hix.
