More pages, more branches as Autumn ‘Garage Essentials’ arrives

The Autumn 2016 issue of Garage Essentials is out now promising more value than ever for UK independent garages, thanks to an increase in both print run and page count.

Crucially, it’s also available for the first time from all branches of CES, GMF, Allparts, Car Parts & Accessories, SC Motor Factors, SAS Autoparts and BMF after The Parts Alliance confirmed in September that Garage Essentials, originally developed by GSF Car Parts, would be made available through all members.

Big efforts have been made to harmonise the suppliers previously participating in both GSF’s Garage Essentials and Toolchest from The Parts Alliance.

This means Auto Extract Systems are completely new to Garage Essentials, whilst Tecalimet and Delphi are welcomed back. Winntec also showcases its latest lifting equipment range for the first time.

The Parts Alliance members can now also offer garages the latest great deals from suppliers such as Dunlop, Bradbury, Unilite, ZM Heaters, EAE, Nuair, Fini and Dalby.

Highlights in this issue include the ‘Train and Gain’ calendar, offering a wide choice of venues delivering an array of modern training courses. It’s supported by leading brands including Bosch and Delphi, with many courses enabling technicians to achieve ATA Accreditation.

There’s also a feature on meeting the new CPD requirement that all MOT testers must complete by March 2017. The Parts Alliance has teamed up with IMI to offer a flexible ‘learn from anywhere’ solution, making completing the two mandatory modules both easy and cost-effective.

You can prove training and successful assessment, to meet DVSA’s criteria, with this online solution for just £59 + VAT for both modules. Garage owners can also easily register multiple technicians.

As the days shorten workshop heating once again becomes a priority and Garage Essentials has cover offers from SIP as well as four pages featuring the extended product range of ZM Heaters, exclusively available from The Parts Alliance.

Meanwhile Hofmann has offered a series of exceptional UK exclusives to The Parts Alliance on pages 16 to 19. These include a GLS4 Multi 4 tonne 2 post electro-hydraulic baseless lift, which requires only 200mm foundations and is available in three-phase or single phase, for less than £2,900 + VAT.

Hofmann also offer a Boxer tyre package delivered and installed for £2,495 + VAT made up of BB2200 Tilt Back Tyre Changer with pneumatic assist arm plus BB4100 Digital Wheel Balancer with tyre matching mode to optimise tyre weight placement.
