Selective, quality conscious and never completely satisfied. They have a lot in common, glove brand Hestra and Jon Olsson. Now they have started a cooperation. ”I got my first Hestra gloves at the age of 10, since then I have always thought they make the best products” says Jon.

Many people already know the story of Jon Olsson, the Alpine ski racer who, although he won the Swedish National Championship in giant slalom for juniors in 1999, already at the age of 16 changed the race skis against homemade twin tips and went freeriding instead. Merit list has become long, 10 medals in the X Games is hard to beat. Today he again is active in alpine ski racing and is training against the Olympics in Sotji, 2014.

For Jon, it was a bit like tie together to begin working with Hestra . ” I like the company and the products, I have always done. My first Hestra gloves was the RSL Comp Vertical Cut-model. It is still my favorite style,” says Jon .

Hestra comments that Jon is an important asset, particularly as a sounding board for product development. ”We look forward to benefit from Jon’s commitment to the sport , the products, and his current concentration to alpine ski racing. He will be valuable in our efforts to create even better gloves for alpine ski racers”, says Claes Magnusson , who owns Hestra together with his brother Svante and their sons.
