HiQ wins the assignment to continue the development of Diabetes Tools’ digital platforms, which make care and everyday life simpler for people with diabetes. One of the solutions, TriabetesClinic for children, was recently nominated as “Best Mobile Innovation for Health” in the Global Mobile Awards.

“E-health is an important area in which HiQ is gaining ground. This is yet another assignment in which we are able to play a part in making a difference in people’s lives. We have been working with Diabetes Tools for some time and we are proud to now be given responsibility for the technology side,” says Magnus Gudéhn, Managing Director at HiQ Stockholm.

Diabetes Tools creates digital platforms and apps that simplify life for diabetes patients while saving time and money for healthcare providers. Replacing logbooks and paperwork with practical new solutions reduces the risk of errors and misunderstandings.

“We look forward to continuing to work together with HiQ. HiQ offers good breadth in terms of the competence and experience that we need. Our solutions are helping patients and healthcare staff every day and we are looking forward to developing more innovations that will make life simpler for more people,” says Anders Weilandt, CEO of Diabetes Tools.

With TriabetesClinic for children a mobile phone or tablet is all you need to calculate insulin doses and share essential information among all those concerned – both the family of the child and healthcare staff. The Triabetes platform is also available for adult patients and for home-care clients.

“As in many of HiQ’s assignments the focus is on a holistic approach. In addition to the technical solution and data management processes, it’s also about user-friendliness – making sure these tools are simple and practical to use, with user interfaces that meet the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals,” Magnus Gudéhn explains.

“This is yet another example of how digitalisation creates value for people. Diabetes Tools and HiQ share the same motivation, using technology to simplify and improve people’s day-to-day lives,” concludes Lars Stugemo, CEO and President of HiQ.
