TAMPERE PROPERTY CHANGES HANDS

HK Ruokatalo Group and LSO Osuuskunta have sold a property located in
the Rahola industrial district of Tampere. The sale concerns HK
Ruokatalo’s meat processing plant and distribution terminal along with
a smallish office building and land areas. The size of the plot is
approximately 34,000 square metres. HK Ruokatalo has leased the
buildings until March 2008.

The property was sold at book value and the transaction thus gives
rise to no additional income or expenses to HK Ruokatalo Group.

Sale of the property is part of the company’s restructuring programme
in Finland which includes the plan to discontinue meat processing and
distribution terminal operations in Tampere by the beginning of 2008.
Overall, the restructuring is estimated to deliver annual costs
savings of some 15–20 million euros.
