Changes in Husqvarna Group Management

Husqvarna Group has made two changes in Group Management as of January 23, 2013. Michael Jones, EVP and Head of business unit Americas, has decided to leave the Group. Nicolas Lanus has been appointed EVP and Head of business unit Sales and Service Asia/Pacific and will become new member of Group Management.

Earl Bennett, Vice President and General Counsel for Americas, has been appointed Acting Head of Americas, effective as of January 23, 2013. He will become member of Group Management until a replacement has been recruited.

Michael Jones joined Husqvarna in 2009. “I thank Michael Jones for his valuable contributions to the Group and wish him all the best with his future endeavors”, says Hans Linnarson, President and CEO of Husqvarna Group.

Nicolas Lanus, the new Head of Sales and Service Asia/Pacific, joined Husqvarna in 2001 and has held numerous leadership roles within sales, marketing, product management and business development across Europe, Latin America and Asia/Pacific. Most recently he has held the position as Vice President Sales and Service for the Asia/Pacific region.

“Nicolas has broad experience within sales and business leadership. His knowledge of the various markets in the region Asia/Pacific will be of great importance for driving sales,” says Hans Linnarson, President and CEO of Husqvarna Group.
