The Greener Good Announces Its Weekly Green Event Series In The Store

Local experts will facilitate the classes on composting, natural beauty, healthy home and green living.

The Greener Good, Fort Worth’s only green lifestyle product store, announces the schedule for its weekly event series at the new 925 Foch Street location, just west of downtown Fort Worth. The event series is called “It’s All Good! at The Greener Good” and classes are taught by experts in their field. Topics include composting, natural beauty, healthy home, and green living.

“Go Green. Save Water. Save $$$” was the first class offered, taught by Deirdre Petty and Debbie Dunbar, both Fort Worth natives, informing people about water conservation and rainwater harvesting.

“Our first event was a huge success so we decided to make this a weekly event series to educate the public on ways  to incorporate green into their everyday lifestyle,” said Liz Johnston, owner of The Greener Good. “People are becoming more environmentally conscious and want to learn about ways to do their part. We are thrilled to meet that demand with educational opportunities and to continue classes throughout 2011.”
