IFS Applications selected by Dataprev – one of the largest technology firms in Latin America
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, has been selected to provide business intelligence and document management solutions to Dataprev, a Brazilian social security information and technology company. The agreement includes licenses, maintenance and services in excess of BRL 4,000,000 (circa US$ 1.6 million).
Headquartered in Brasilia, Dataprev has more than 3,400 employees. The company has developed specific and sophisticated infrastructure to store, process and update data in real time, including information on millions of Brazilian taxpayers. Dataprev provides services to the Ministry of Social Security (INSS), and the Federal Revenue of Brazil, as well as the ministries of Social Welfare, Labor and Employment, and Social Development and Fight Against Hunger. Dataprev also maintains agreements with 81 financial institutions for processing information related to the loan grant payroll retirees.
Dataprev offers a number of services and solutions to its customers, including systems development, ICT consulting, datacenter services and telecommunications services.
IFS is part of a consortium with three other Brazilian firms to provide Dataprev with a cloud-based solution, including user licenses, and a set of modules supporting business intelligence, performance management, time and attendance, payroll, benefits management, wages management, portals, health and training management, document management, and report generation.
