Everton Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Historic Season with Howard Kendall DVD Signing
Everton 1984/85 manager who led the team in its greatest ever campaign will be meeting fans at the Everton TWO store at Liverpool ONE on Thursday 6th May from 5pm-6pm to sign copies of new DVD Everton’s Greatest Season – 1984/85 Season Review.
The 6th May 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of Everton’s greatest achievement in football; League Champions, European Cup-Winners' Cup Winners, FA Cup Finalists, and Charity Shield Winners...the list reads like an Evertonian's dream. But this was no fantasy, this was the culmination of a fantastic season in which Howard Kendall built on the success of the 1984 FA Cup win and took the club to another level. Now released on DVD, fans will have the opportunity to witness the historic campaign unfold in Everton’s Greatest Season - 1984/85 Season Review. This was the year that Everton truly dominated; Kendall was named Manager of the Year, Neville Southall Footballer of the Year, Peter Reid PFA Player of the Year, and Everton European Team of the Year.
