Everton midfielder Tim Cahill will be meeting fans and signing copies of new DVD Tim Cahill: The Unseen Journey at HMV, Liverpool One, on Thursday 29th April from 5pm-6pm.

Offering a fascinating look at his life both on and off the pitch, the DVD recounts some of Tim’s greatest achievements, and takes time out with the player to see a side rarely witnessed by the public. Featuring highlights of his inspirational performances which led Everton to the 2009 FA Cup Final, as well as some of his most enduring displays in the Premier League, and a glimpse at his role in helping the Australian national team to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, the DVD is packed with action as well as behind the scenes insights. For club and country Tim Cahill is an inspirational character. A supremely gifted player, his sublime skills and uncanny ability to score goals on big occasions have won him a legion of fans around the world. But the no nonsense on-field persona is a far cry from his laid back, family orientated character which is revealed with the release of a new DVD, ‘Tim Cahill: The Unseen Journey’, in which the Everton player invites the cameras in to his life. Away from the pitch the programme reveals how he relaxes with his friends and family, with highlights including his 30th birthday celebrations, as well as a tour of his homes in Australia and England, and in front of camera the midfielder reveals his innermost hopes and fears and talks openly about his plans for the future. Offering a rare insight into one of Everton’s favourite sons, ‘Tim Cahill: The Unseen Journey’ is an honest, revealing, emotional and, at times, very funny portrait of a modern footballing legend. ==Ends== Notes to Editors Tim Cahill will be appearing at HMV, Liverpool One, on Thursday 29th April from 5pm-6pm to sign copies of Tim Cahill: The Unseen Journey DVD.
