In Spain, Induct has also developed networks within the education sector, with the e.g. Pompeu Fabra University and Open University of Catalonia as early customers. The ability to collaborate and share best practices and innovations provides high value for the participants. Now, the two additional institutions have signed with Induct to further strengthen the collaboration and sharing of best practices in the educational ecosystem in Spain.

The Ministry of Education has signed a framework agreement to further deploy the Induct methodology and network platform for the vocational school system in Catalonia. The agreement is based on the success the Ministry has experienced with building two Induct Networks; one is ‘Port of Barcelona’ which connects 8 companies and 20 vocational schools, and ‘Innolab’ which connects 6 cities and 12 vocational schools.

In addition, Induct has now signed a contract with Joviat Education Group offers a range of vocational degrees from several campuses across Catalonia. Induct will support in developing the innovation strategy and connecting the Joviat Group on the Induct Network platform.

“Induct connects innovation communities in a network which enables employees, patients or students to find and adopt solutions that other in the network have successfully implemented to solve similar challenges,” said Alf Martin Johansen, CEO of Induct.  “This dramatically reduces duplicated effort, lowers cost, and supports the rapid diffusion of best practices across the entire network. We are very happy to work with these leading organizations to further enhance their innovation capability and connect them in the Induct Network. We also see that the experience from healthcare in Norway is very valuable in entering other markets. Similarly, the progress we have in education in Spain makes us well prepared to enter this sector in other countries”.
