Indutrade acquires two Swedish trading companies

Indutrade acquires two Swedish trading companies Industrivärden's wholly owned trading company Indutrade has acquired Industri Belos AB, in Uppsala, and Lyma Kemi AB, in Arlöv. Industri Belos AB conducts trading in industrial components, mainly in the valves and water technology product area. Lyma Kemi AB conducts trading in the valves and pumps product segment for the chemical industry. The acquired companies represent a number of leading European and Japanese ma- nufacturers in their respective product areas. The acquisitions are part of the development of Indutrade's industrial flow technology product area, which following these acquisitions will have annual sales of approximately SEK 450 M. Indutrade is active in the trading of industrial components in Sweden, Fin- land, the Baltic countries, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Sa- les in 1998 totaled SEK 1.7 billion. The company is part of the listed Swedish industrial holding company Industrivärden, which has approximately SEK 45 bil- lion in assets under management.
