Latour Industries creates new business unit within energy efficiency

Report this content

Latour Industries has during the last four years built a portfolio of companies in building automation and energy management. Today, the portfolio consists of Bastec, Elvaco, Kabona and Produal as wholly owned companies and Noda as a partly owned company.

Latour Industries now creates a new business unit named Bemsiq AB, with these companies as independent subsidiaries. The companies will continue to act as independent entities with focus on growth both in the home market and through international expansion.

“The new business unit will create a better base for coordinated activities between our companies in the energy management area”, says Björn Lenander, CEO of Latour Industries. “This is a natural step towards forming a new business area within Latour.”

“I am convinced that our model with slightly smaller and entrepreneurial companies with high flexibility and customer-oriented solutions will be a competitive advantage on the polarized building automation market”, says Pär Arvidsson, business unit manager for Bemsiq AB. “The companies will continue to act as independent entities and we hope to add new companies though additional acquisitions”.
